John Smith (otherwise Thomas Smith, otherwise Tobias Goodall) guilty of the highway robbery of Robert Stainton in the parish of Saxton (sic) on 8th April 1737: robbing him of a gold half guinea, a silver crown piece, 16/- in money, a medal with a portrait of Queen Anne (valued at 2/6) and a medal with a portrait of King George I (valued at 2/6).
